And yes, she did sing “Call Me Maybe.”
On Thursday, August 20, 2015, JetBlue hosted another T5 Concert with a performance by the Grammy nominated singer and songwriter, Carly Rae Jepsen. Jepson, having recently premiered the new video for her latest single “Run Away With Me,” performed songs from her highly anticipated album E MO TION. One of the songs on the album “I Really Like You” has become a Top 40 hit globally.
This concert in particular gave a lucky number of people free tickets to enjoy the event as well as allowed ticketed customers of JetBlue to sit back and enjoy the music. As soon as Carly came on stage these fans became so excited for Carly to perform. To start off the concert, Carly played some of her older hits that launched her singing career such as “Good Time,” and of course, “Call Me Maybe,” which everyone singing, too. Carly then performed some of the songs from her new album such as “Tonight I’m Getting Over You,” and “I Really Like You.”
Lastly, Carly performed her most recent single “Run Away With Me” to end her show. Overall, this concert was a lot of fun and whether you’re a die hard Carly Rae Jepsen fan or not, it would be hard not to sing along and jam out to these catchy songs. After the concert, fans who won tickets to the concert got to go to an exclusive meet and greet on the roof of Terminal 5 with Carly.
