The new Spring Summer collection from Carlos Campos is inspired by a traveler, the mysterious “Forastero”, transcending time and place.
Campos brings influence from his Latin heritage to deliver a collection that is minimal yet chic, rooted in working outsiders who travel from town to town with a quiet confidence.
The collection exudes excellent craftsmanship in tailoring and a well layered color palette. Utilitarian uniforms are made with light layers in addition to extreme attention to detail – every cut positioned strategically and uniformly giving off a slim, refined silhouette.
The collection is a hybrid between suave romantic and bold, young chic. Based on a palette of green hues along with accents of reds and camels, the pieces emulate interesting contrasts to familiar trenches and double-breasted blazers. A highlight was the hunter green tailored cagoule jacket.
