On Saturday, July 31st, Australian designer Camilla Frank held her Summer Soireé at the Infinity house in South Hampton. The pool-side event with celebrities and influencers alike sipping on Calirosa tequila and dancing to the perfect summer mix by DJ Luda.
Of all the events hosted in the Hamptons that I was fortunate enough to attend this summer, without hesitation, I would say the Camilla Summer Soireé was the most exciting! I felt like I had stepped into another world where it’s summer all the time. Most of the attendees were dressed head to toe in Camilla pieces that they picked right out of the Camilla gifting suite. Real Housewives of New York star Ramona Singer, Model Khrystyana, and Influencer Greivy, to name a few VIPs, were all in attendance. Special guest performer Drag Queen Jaclynn Hyde, blessed us with her lip-syncing talents. Although Camilla was founded in 2004, this was my introduction to her incredible brand. Seeing everyone dancing in their Camilla prints boosted my serotonin. After prancing around and a dip in the pool, all attendees could take their very own Camilla piece home to enjoy.
The Australian designer’s eponymous line, Camilla, is known for its hand-painted colorful prints and fun-spirited luxury pieces. Each design is hand-drawn or painted by her in-house designers and printed on 100% silk and sewn by hand. While these are luxury pieces and come with a luxury price tag, they are worth it. Any fashion collector, enthusiast, or lover should invest in one (or a few) of these gorgeous hand-sewn, embellished silk pieces. Camilla offers various designs in different styles; there is even a style guide offered on the website with several ways to, my favorite piece, the round-neck kaftan. Look below to see guests in their Camilla pieces and to alleviate any symptoms of FOMO you may be experiencing.
