Do you hear that? It’s the powerful sound of Women Who Rock.

The organization is a perfect example of what can be achieved when the drive and ambition to succeed is combined with experience, ingenuity, and compassion. Taking the spotlight on the stage of humanitarian work, the advocacy group is focused on educating, supporting, and funding women-centric health research.

Recognizing an unfulfilled need, Women Who Rock is fighting for the health of millions of women around the world. Through innovation and good old-fashioned rock ‘n’ roll, they are properly giving a voice to generations of humans who need the power of change. This is the battle song played by warriors marching to the beat of a unified group who will not stop until medical equality is achieved.

As a female-founded brand, WWR benefit concerts features a female-fronted line-up that gives all their energy to raising funds to benefit life-saving women’s health research at Magee-Womens Research Institute & Foundation.  Based in Pittsburgh and the nation’s largest research institute dedicated solely to women’s health research and reproductive biology. MWRI’s current research includes 319 active studies spanning 292 different conditions with 162,000 clinical trial participants all over the world. MWRI’s areas of research cover breast and gynecologic cancers, reproductive biology, infectious diseases, the development of COVID-19 therapeutics and women-controlled HIV prevention, obstetric care for women with substance use disorder, postpartum depression, and more.

In addition to the thrilling stage moments, Women Who Rock offers a full apparel and accessory line and hosts global campaigns, fundraisers, and pop-up events. The platform remarkably puts its mission and philosophy to work with tailored experiences and growth strategies.

This unique combination of ambition and attention was recently felt during an Oscars Week in Hollywood to recent concerts in Atlanta. And, now, throughout the month of March, Hard Rock Heals Foundation is committing to “Rock Women’s Health” in partnership with WWR. Hard Rock Cafes around the world will mark the month-long occasion with a series of iconic performances. Hard Rock’s celebration – dubbed ‘International Women’s Month’ – aims to empower women and raise awareness for women’s health all month long.

“Women Who Rock is thrilled to bring the future of women’s health to the global stage through this incredibly powerful partnership with Magee-Womens Research Institute ,” said Melinda Colaizzi, Founder, Women Who Rock. “WWR is dedicated to using the power of music to impact and empower the lives of women around the world and we will ignite the power and strength of women worldwide, one Hard Rock stage at a time.”

It’s this energy that resonates with people. From the performers who dedicate their time to the cause to the individuals who buy tickets and t-shirts as part of a donation, this impressive acumen met by an even more impressive passion to change the world is what makes this joint venture and partnership special.

The philanthropic efforts are not only notable – they also are crucial to thousands of lives. If this beautiful organization didn’t exist, the planet would suffer. Applause for the team certainly is deserved and should be made as loud as for the musicians.

“This amazing partnership is helping fund critical research that impacts and improves women’s lives globally,” Michael Annichine, CEO, Magee-Womens Research Institute reflects. “Our research is helping to stop the spread of HIV, reduce infant and maternal mortality, and improve survival rates for women’s cancers. Hard Rock Heals Foundation is helping us achieve our goal to rock women’s health worldwide!”

Demonstrating an endeavor like this sparks inspiration in creatives while making sure that everyone continues to benefit from it.
