Super Bowl LX is on Sunday and some of the music industry’s biggest stars are performing throughout San Francisco and the Bay Area ahead of the big game between the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots. This year, the one concert during Super Bowl weekend that fans were most clamoring to attend was Bud Light’s Post Malone & Buddies.
On Friday night, beloved singer Post Malone took to the Bud Light stage and delivered the most exhilarating concert held at Fort Mason, a former U.S. Army post located in San Francisco’s northern Marina District. This marks his return to the Super Bowl scene after his glorious New Orleans performance last year that was part of Bud Light’s “Backyard” series. And let’s not forget his soulful rendition of “America the Beautiful” at the start of Super Bowl LVIII. “Getting back on the Bud Light stage during Super Bowl weekend is like coming home,” the superstar said in a statement. “I love it.”

Doors to last night’s concert opened at 8pm with hundreds of lucky concertgoers, who won tickets through Bud Light’s Instagram and Facebook page, anxiously waiting to get in. Finally at 9:38pm, Post Malone, a Bud Light partner of nearly 10 years, made his grand entrance and rocked many of his chart topping songs, including “Circles,” “Sunflower,” and “Rockstar.” Adoring fans joyously sang, jumped and danced along.
“Thank you so much for joining us tonight” he enthusiastically greeted the crowd at the start of the show. “I hope everyone in this place has a beer.” Throughout the show, Post Malone provided wise words of wisdom to the crowd, cracked funny jokes and even offered to pay the difference in cost for the Bud Lights that were sold at the concert. Guests ended up only paying $3.00. This rare act of generosity just shows how much Post Malone cares for his fans and it’s absolutely heartwarming. One hilarious moment of the night happened when he balanced a Bud Light onto his head while crooning “Circles.”
Joining Posty, as fans endearingly call him, onstage for a surprise appearance was T-Pain, Quavo and Dave Stamey, who Post Malone called “one of my favorite singer-songwriters.” By 11pm, the concert was winding down. Posty thanked the crowd for their love and support. “The most amazing thing in the world is to perform for you guys,” he genuinely said. “I hope everyone had a fuck’n God damn good time. I did!”
