Running has never been more chic
With the weather becoming warmer, it is the perfect time to pick up running. There is nothing like going for a run or a jog on a beautiful summer day and taking in the scenery around you. And to celebrate the summer, Brooks Running hosted a Summer Happy Hour to celebrate the launch of their latest summertime-themed collection. The event was held at Freehold Brooklyn where guests were able to relax, enjoy a refreshing cocktail, and try the recently launched collection. The two new shoes featured in this collection are the Levitate StealthFit 6 and the Revel 6. Both of these shoes come in a variety of colors that can go with any outfit, and the Revel 6 even has a tufted tongue that mimics grassy fields, and have springy feel to it making it incredibly comfortable while on a run or working out. This collection also features apparel like their new 7” shorts, crew socks, a cute trucker hat, and their “Sun’s Out, Fun’s Out” tank top. All of these items are perfect for those looking to sport a cute outfit while going on a run or heading to the gym.
The event was hosted by fitness trainer and Brooks Running ambassador, Jah’son “Jahdy” Patterson who led a one mile run around Brooklyn where guests could break in their new running shoes and workout gear. At the end of the run, Jahdy led a quick workout routine for guests to get their blood pumping some more. And once back, guests were also able to cool off and relax by playing a variety of summertime games like ping pong, “beer’ pong, and cornhole while sipping on craft cocktails from Freehold.
