‘Engagements’ the musical will premiere in early August at the McGinn/Cazale Theatre.

The engagement parties are glamorous with their specialized appetizers, cocktails, and extravagant floral arraignments but the people in them are far from perfection.  Lauren’s best friend is soon to be married to a severely inadequate man; the decision being a threat to all the secrets that Lauren holds in the private place of her heart.

Engagements will be performed from Monday, July 18 through Sunday, August 14 at Second Stage Theatre .  The original 296-seat theatre that opened in 1999 was located at 43rd Street with design by renowned Dutch architect Rem Koolhaas.
