Brightfox, a brand of nightlife hydration, teamed up with charity, F**** Cancer, to throw a bash for a cause in NYC.
Jadakiss headlined this celebratory night in Marquee night club on Nov. 21. Reasons for the celebration included F**** Cancer’s 10 year anniversary and Jadakiss’ upcoming album Ignatius; named after his friend and A&R manager Ignatius “Icepick” Jackson who passed away in June 2017 due to colon cancer.
Sponsored by Brightfox, Bumble, Boxy Charm and Raen, the event honored Icepick and raised money for the Canadian non profit known for their work to prevent and detect cancer. With Jadakiss present and backed by trendy brands, it was no surprise a youthful crowd took over the scene flaunting their “F— Cancer” tees and taking selfies all night.
Other supporters include Kid Capri and Mel DeBarge who came out to show their support. Being true to who they are as a charity, F— Cancer was able to spread awareness and start conversations in a night club; a perfect example of how they’re changing the way people talk about cancer.
To get involved, visit the charity’s website where anyone can donate or sign up to host a F— Cancer Independent.
