The picturesque vineyards of Napa Valley set the stage for a music extravaganza like no other as the highly anticipated BottleRock Napa Valley festival returned for its 11th annual celebration this past Memorial Day weekend.
With over 120,000 attendees, the festival sold out by January, marking another successful year filled with stellar performances, exquisite culinary delights and vibrant artistic displays.
BottleRock Napa Valley is one of Northern California’s largest annual music festivals, blending rock, rap, pop, country, indie, funk, and Latin music with the local flavors of this world-famous wine region. This year’s highlights included performances from headliners such as Stevie Nicks, Megan Thee Stallion, Pearl Jam, Kali Uchis, Ed Sheeran and Queens of the Stone Age. The festival’s nine stages, nestled between towering redwoods, provided a stunning backdrop for the diverse lineup of over 75 bands.
But the BottleRock Festival experience isn’t limited to just music. The festival grounds were a tapestry of artistic expression, with captivating installations and interactive exhibits at every turn. From larger-than-life sculptures to vibrant street art, every corner seemed to hold a surprise waiting to be discovered.
The Culinary Stage, where renowned chefs from around the country showcased their culinary prowess, was a major draw. The tantalizing aroma of delectable dishes filled the air, making it impossible to resist the temptation to indulge. Attendees had access to gourmet food from Napa Valley’s finest chefs and restaurateurs, many of whom boast Michelin stars.
One of the highlights for many festival-goers was the chance to sample unique drinks at various booths like at the 21Seeds booth, where tequila enthusiasts could explore the brand’s infused tequilas. The booth’s inviting atmosphere and friendly staff guided visitors through a tasting journey, showcasing the vibrant flavors of 21Seeds’ cucumber jalapeño, grapefruit hibiscus and Valencia orange tequilas. Each sip was a celebration of natural ingredients, providing a delightful kick to the festival experience.
Returning with their iconic 3-Story Bar was Hendrick’s Gin, where attendees could sample unique cocktails crafted with the brand’s distinctive gin. The booth was a whimsical wonderland, complete with a vintage bathtub filled with roses and a giant cucumber sculpture. Visitors could enjoy refreshing gin and tonics, garnished with cucumber slices and take pictures with their flower arch.
A standout moment of BottleRock 2024 was Stephen Sanchez’s performance on the JaM Cellars stage. After delivering a captivating set that had the crowd entranced, we had the exclusive opportunity to interview Sanchez backstage. Check it out here!
This year, T-Pain absolutely exceeded my expectations, delivering iconic throwbacks and hilarious choreography. Festival-goers know that you often have to divide their time between stages to catch every performance you want, but T-Pain ended up being the only stage I watched from start to finish because I was having so much fun. Other personal favorites included Megan Thee Stallion, Stevie Nicks, Stephen Sanchez and Holly Humberstone. Each artist brought their unique energy and style, contributing to an unforgettable weekend.
In case you missed it, after BottleRock concluded, they announced a special presale of 3-day General Admission tickets for the 2025 festival at 2024 prices.
