Though the night was chilly, the mood was magical and bright. This season, everywhere we look, green and pink are the star of the show as Wicked draws in audiences from around the word. Bloomingdales 59th St. Flagship unveiled its window theme, Wicked Good Holiday, with a night that defied all expectations.

The evening was hosted by actress, singer, and Wicked movie star Cynthia Erivo, celebrating the “Oztastic” theme. Performances from multiple Broadway including Jordan Fisher, Lea Salonga, Tituss Burgess, and dance presentation by the film’s choreographer, Christopher Scott took place before the big window reveal.  An 8-piece orchestra playing instrumental medleys from the film’s soundtrack.

Spectators gathered along Lexington Avenue, eagerly awaiting the enchanting performances and the highly anticipated window displays, while the Bloomingdale’s building was illuminated pink and green.

Viewers were not disappointed as the backdrop slowly rose to show the incredible displays. The windows glowed with the signature colors of Wicked, showcasing re-imagined scenes from the movie, including iconic moments that were a vibrant tribute to the magic of Oz.

Beyond the windows, Bloomingdales leaned into the partnership with their Wicked Good Holiday shop and over-the-top decor. Thoughtfully curated selections of gift inspired by the world of Wicked and its vibrant palette of pink, green, and metallic hues. Shoppers are transported to Emerald City on every floor of the building. More than 100 exclusive products and 150 participating brands including Béis, Mattel, Voluspa, Stoney Clover Lane, Flamingo Estate, Sydney Evan, La Mer, Furbish, and Jonathan Adler are available to shop.

The enchantment goes beyond shopping, adding enchantment to the Bloomingdales experience. Photo opportunities, specialty activations, customization cards, and a whole lot more are found throughout the store.
