Queen Bey has recently announced a $300 box set for her latest album LEMONADE. Yes, $300. The collector’s item is made to order and has features any Beyoncé fan would love. How To Make Lemonade contains a coffee table book that features “hundreds of never-before-seen photos from the making of LEMONADE”. The book includes writing by Dr. Michael Eryc Dyson as well as some of Beyoncé’s personal writing. The box set also includes downloads, both audio and visual, and the first pressing of the album in a double vinyl LP version, pressed in a lemon shade of yellow.
LEMONADE was originally released on April 23, 2016. The tidal exclusive album was nominated for Album of the Year and won Best Urban Contemporary Album at the 2017 Grammy Awards. With limited quantities available, the box set is available for pre-order on Beyoncé’s website. LEMONADE was Bey’s sixth studio album, featuring the hit single ‘Formation’ that shook up the pop culture world when it was first released. Being that Bey’s album is exclusively on Tidal, it might be worth it to buy the collector’s item if you’re a die-hard fan – there’s a good chance it won’t be available anywhere else.
