No, this isn’t 2001 and we’re pretty sure Kim Kardashian’s velour days are over, but with the help of super model Behati Prinsloo Juicy Couture is making an epic comeback.
Prinsloo showed off her baby bump in a black slip and denim coat at the launch party for her new collaboration with Juicy Couture at their March 23rd fete.
DuJour Magazine’s Jason Binn and Prinsloo co hosted the bash which was held at The Dream Downtown Hotel’s rooftop. Guests included Juicy Couture executives and Prinsloo’s best friends who showed up to support her including models Taylor Hill, Josephine Skriver, and Romee Strijd.
Guests sipped on the B x Juicy Margarita, the evening’s signature cocktail made with Tequila, Agave Nectar, and Fresh lime juice. They also nibbled on passed hor dourves like mushroom tacos, sliders, a spicy corn salad and got a peak into DuJour Magazine’s Spring issue with cover star Henry Cavill. The Little Cupcake Bakeshop provided the dessert with cupcakes in red velvet, chocolate, and vanilla flavors.
Jamie Salter, who owns ABG (Authentic Brands Group) of which Juicy Couture is part of had the following to say about his brand: “It’s a great brand. Its been around for a while. The brand is on a big upswing special thanks to Behati – she really helped make it all happen. The new line is going to be in Bloomingdales in the fall and it has a lot to do with the Behati line.”
