The show stopping prequel to the absolutely iconic series, Prime Video’s THE LORD OF THE RINGS: THE RINGS OF POWER will take viewers on the adventure of a lifetime  Where our scene is set, viewers find a thrilling ensemble cast of characters at a time that one can look at as peaceful, thousands of years prior to the events of the original series. On The Scene: Tennis Stars Belinda Bencic and Alex de Minaur Celebrate US Open at Park Terrace Hotel

There’s no better way to celebrate any occasion than with adorable puppies, and national dog day in New York City is no exception. On Wednesday, Park Terrace Hotel’s beautiful scenic rooftop was transformed into the ultimate puppy play pad as the hotel hosted its “Bark Terrace Puppy Latte” launch. With its stunning view of Bryant Park, the rooftop itself is perfect on its own, but with the addition of the puppies from PupStarz Rescue, it truly was the most amazing morning.

PupStarz Rescue is an animal welfare group committed to the rescue and rehabilitation of dogs and cats in public shelters at high risk of euthanasia, as well as those in danger of abuse. The organization is  committed to rescuing as many animals as possible, saving over 3,100 dogs and cats since 2015.

As it’s currently the US open in New York, it only made sense to share the puppy love with some Tennis sensations. Belinda Bencic and Alex de Minaur attended the launch event, and as both huge fans of dogs and coffee, the Gold Olympic medalist and Top Seeded player were the perfect additions to the morning. They’re staying at the hotel during the heated completion, and Park Terrace’s luxury amenities are ideal for them to unwind before heading to the courts  for the ultimate game. 

The beautiful Terrazzo lounge will give you the perfect titular view of New York City, with stunning Bryant Park views on one side and the Empire State Building on the other. Guests can enjoy a rich Italian-roasted espresso or your afternoon pick-me-up cup of tea from the fabulous coffee bar menu featuring La Colombe.

Finally, the event celebrated all things coffee by teaching guests how to make their very own puppy latte art, and even included a competition!

In the evening, the hotel held a cocktail party at the Terrazzo Lounge with Alex and Belinda that showcased the new space and kicked off Park Terrace’s US Open viewing parties held daily at Terrazzo. Guests enjoyed wines from Catena Zapata and cocktails from their official US Open Cocktail menu, created specifically for the viewing parties. These included the cleverly named Game-Set-Match (Kilbeggan Whiskey with Ginger Beer topped off with Lime Juice), Pimms Cup (Traditional British Pimms Cup with Cucumber and Mint Garnish), Courtside (Hudson Bourbon with Antica Aged Sweet Vermouth and Seasoned Orange Bitters) and Match Point (Ketel One Vodka with St. Germain Elderflower, muddled Strawberry with Lime Juice and a Spritz of Soda).

Exclusive: Eva Noblezada and Flula Borg Talk New Film “Luck”

Apple is inviting us to step into the magical “Land Of Luck” to learn a thing or two about life in their newest original film Luck. Featuring a star studded cast of Jane Fonda, Whoopi Goldberg, Simon Pegg, Eva Noblezada and so many more, the story follows Noblezada‘s Sam Greenfield as she is at an incredibly defining moment in her life; aging out of foster care. Through her beautiful relationship work young foster sister Hazel (Adelynn Spoon) we begun to learn a tragic flaw of Sam, her bad luck. From the little disasters she experiences day to day (her toaster not working, leaves blowing into her bedroom) to the bigger things in life that have left her heartbroken, Sam can’t seem to catch a break. That is until she comes across Simon Pegg’s Bob, the Irish talking cat who has a gift for Sam; a lucky coin that might just turn her luck around. When even that goes south, Sam is forced to enter into the magical land of luck in order to turn her luck around, and it’s in that very place that she learns a thing or two that might just change her perspective as well. This brilliant film opens up viewers eyes to so many big themes as well as the sweet little ones that will warm hearts. We sat down with Eva Noblezada and Flula Borg to talk all about Luck! Exclusive: William Jackson Harper, Nina Bloomgarden, Cristin Milioti and Cast Talk New Series “The Resort”

Elements of nostalgia are brought to life within a sinister mystery that unflolds on a young couple’s vacation through the mind of creator Andy Sierra, in his newest show, Peacock’s The Resort. Taking place throughout multiple different generations at the same resort, the main focus of the story falls onto Emma (Cristin Milioti) and Noah (William Jackson Harper). We learn about their marriage and the problems that arise with their difference in passions, but this is just the tip of the iceberg. Before long, the trip turns to disaster when the couple finds themselves embroiled in one of the Yucatan’s most bizarre unsolved mysteries that took place fifteen years prior. It’s a story about people, about relationships and humanity, and the thriller element only adds to the excitement. “The Resort is about a lot of things.” Sierra said. “There are big swings, and little swings. It’s
someone looking back on their life and trying to remember the good times, mixed with a5-year-old playing with toys in the backyard. It never takes itself too seriously, but sometimes it gets pretty serious. I guess, at its core, it’s about people who want to go back to a time in life
when things seemed a bit easier, before the hard parts of life keep piling up. It’s about people who are trying to recapture that feeling of home. And within that, there’s a big mystery.”

On The Scene: The 75th Annual Tony Awards Red Carpet!

On Sunday, the biggest night on Broadway returned to its iconic home- New York City’s Radio City Music Hall. Outside of the theater, there were sparkling ballgowns as far as the eyes could see as Broadway stars took a night off from their usual eight-times-a-week performance lifestyle to celebrate the magic of theatre at the 75th annual Tony Awards.
