Cameras flashed in the lobby of the MoMA on Monday evening as stars ofย The Chaperone walked across the red carpet laid out for the premiere screening event. PBS Distribution and Masterpiece films hosted the event just ahead of the filmโs opening in New York on March 29th.
โThe rich velvet curtains draped behind the stage at Public Arts read “MABEL” in blocky letters. Photographers and pressed paced around snapping photos. Dedicated fans milled in front of the stage sipping from scuffed plastic wine glasses.
