This fall, fans of WICKED: FOR GOOD were treated to a truly spellbinding season of moments, from the iconic Rockefeller Center takeover to the film’s massive premiere and product collabs that felt Unlimited. And as if that weren’t magical enough, creators and media were invited to step into the ultimate Oz-inspired experience at the exclusive home entertainment event at ARTE Museum — a one-day immersive journey designed to capture the world of Wicked one last time ahead of the film’s release for home audiences.

The ARTE Museum transformation was nothing short of enchanting. Guests wandered through a full Wicked wonderland, complete with breathtaking digital installations, cinematic lighting, and soundscapes that mirrored the heart and soul of the story. Emerald-green hues shimmered across sweeping projections, while life-size set pieces conjured the world of Elphaba and Glinda in ways that felt truly spellbinding. Every room cast its own kind of magic, giving creators and media the perfect backdrop to capture the story’s wickedly beautiful universe.

In attendance were some of the massive creators who helped propel the movies forward and had been part of the story from day one across their social channels. Paul Tazwell, the visionary designer behind many of the film’s iconic looks, was present to showcase his masterpieces and participate in interviews, while original costumes from the film were displayed throughout the museum. Guests were fully immersed in the world of Oz, with multiple moments where attendees — ourselves included — were thrust into the spotlight and filmed on intricate sets like the Yellow Brick Road, a tornado room, and Elphaba’s hideaway.

The museum’s installations were nothing short of spellbinding. The waterfall infinite room glowed emerald green, the starry Milky Way ceiling was sprinkled with WICKED: FOR GOOD signs, a pink bubble-filled room featured Glinda’s wand, and the flower room displayed her dress alongside a pianist performing the film’s score live. And the Yellow Brick Road set? Absolutely insane — a dazzling, fully immersive pathway that truly transported everyone into the world of Oz. Guests also enjoyed thoughtfully curated drinks by Absolut Vodka and delicious bites while watching a behind-the-scenes making-of documentary, and goodie bags included treats from DIFF Collection, Bombas, and more.

Of course, personal style mattered — I made sure to arrive in the perfect Wicked-inspired fit: my Wicked leather jacket from Forever21, Puma Silver Shoes from the collection, and two trusty Cambridge satchels to complete the look. From the immersive rooms to the fashion moments and interactive sets, the event perfectly captured the magic of WICKED: FOR GOOD, giving everyone a chance to step into the story one last time.

Following the event, the magic didn’t end. WICKED: FOR GOOD officially became available for home viewing, allowing fans to continue their journey down the yellow brick road from the comfort of their own living rooms. The film was released for digital rental and purchase on Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, Google Play, YouTube, and Vudu. The home release included over an hour of bonus features, deleted scenes, and even a sing-along version — offering fans the chance to belt out their favorite Wicked tunes and relive the story again and again.

The ARTE Museum event served as a bewitching farewell to the theatrical experience, while the home release ensured that the world of Oz continued to dazzle audiences long after the lights dimmed. From the immersive installations to the at-home viewing magic, this season proved once again that WICKED: FOR GOOD isn’t just a film — it’s a world that fans can step into, celebrate, and experience whenever they please.
