This weekend in New York City the Amex Gold x Döňůt by Dunkin Tasting Experience took place for delighted franchise fans and card holders. There was simply no better way to toast the brand’s loyalists than this truly divine curated event.
Taking the traditional servings of the beloved chain, Amex hosted a culinary day that was both delicious and creative all in a golden way meant to shine on in the memory book for years to come.
Amex ® Gold Café debuted in a sparkling fashion for the first-of-its-kind breakfast experience: Döňůt by Dunkin’ at the Amex® Gold Café. Amex® Gold and Dunkin’ which saw guests enjoying a 12-course breakfast tasting menu, featuring both customer favorites and never-before-tasted items from Dunkin’.
Card members and foodies were invited to indulge in fine-dining food and beverage offerings inspired by Dunkin’ menu items that were showcased in a thrilling way like never witnessed. To eat here was to experience a remarkable way brands can blend to become a moment that is worthy of grand applause.
Dishes over the weekend served up by a stylish white glove pop-up restaurant included a menu of: PUMPKIN MUFFIN BITE (Dunkin’ Pumpkin Muffin in a bite-sized cube, garnished with Sweet Whipped Cream Cheese topping, Apple Butter, Praline Pepitas and a Cheddar Cheese Crisp); SUNGOLD AVOCADO TOAST (Dunkin’ Sourdough Toast with Avocado Spread, topped with Seasoned Roasted Sungold Tomatoes, Sunflower Seeds and Drizzled with Chili Crisp); GOLDEN ROYALE SPIKED REFRESHER MIMOSA (Mango Pineapple Dunkin’ Refresher with Pineapple Juice, Simple Syrup, Tequila, topped with Prosecco) for a first dish.
The second serving was: SKEWERED POUTINE STYLE HASH BROWNS (Dunkin’ Hashbrowns topped with Caramelized Onions, Cheese Curds, and Dunkin’ Chipotle Aioli); MINI BAGEL BREAKFAST SANDWICH (Dunkin’ Spicy Herb Topped Mini Bagel, Dunkin’ Cream Cheese, Scrambled Egg Patty, Crispy Prosciutto, Arugula); and DUNKIN’ CROISSANT ENROBED SCOTCH EGG (Soft Boiled Egg, wrapped in Dunkin’ Breakfast Pork Sausage and Croissant Dough, served open faced with Mustard Sauce (Veg Option Available with Impossible Sausage).
A G’OLD FASHIONED then pleased the crowd with Dunkin’ Cold Brew Extract, Dunkin’ Fall Vanilla Spice Brown Sugar Syrup, Maple Bitters, Bourbon, Orange Twist, and Bourbon Cherry.
Then followed was a third serving of: CHOCOLATE DIPPED SNACKIN’ BACON (Dunkin’ Crisp Cherrywood Bacon with Maple Brown Sugar; Seasoning dipped in Milk Chocolate with Gold Dust); CRÈME ANGLAISE DONUT (Mini Old-Fashioned Dunkin’ Donut soaked in Dunkin’ Fall Vanilla Spice Syrup on top of Crème Anglaise, topped with Fresh Fruit); FRESH FRUIT SALAD INFUSED WITH A DUNKIN• MINT TEA SYRUP (Fresh Seasonal Fruit with a Dunkin’ Mint Tea Infused Syrup) and a HORCHATA ICED COFFEE with Brewed Dunkin’ Iced Coffee with Dunkin’ Horchata).
Lastly, guests indulged in Mini Dunkin’ French Cruller Ring with Dunkin’ Coffee Milk Ice Cream which was a Dunkin’ Banana Chocolate Chip Loaf cut into a bite-sized square, coated with Dark Chocolate. Topping off the perfect day was a GOLDEN “CRACKED” LATTE (Dunkin’ Espresso with Whole Milk and Dunkin’ Pumpkin Spice Swirl, served deconstructed in a Dark Chocolate coated cup).
A perfect day all thanks to Amex. Oh, so golden!
For those on the West Coast, the foodie love continues. Amex ® Gold Café lands in L.A. after its inaugural tour date in NY on October 4-6th. The anchor of the all-day dining experience is the 12-course breakfast tasting menu: Döňůt by Dunkin’. Menu highlights include Poutine Style Hash Browns, Scotch Egg, Crème Anglaise Donuts, and Horchata Iced Coffee.
Gold Café LA will offer the Döňůt by Dunkin’ on October 18,19, and 20 between 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at 8009 Melrose Ave. The location will be transformed into an all-gold everything experience featuring a dynamic approach to lighting to compliment the all-day café experience.
Döňůt by Dunkin’ reservations are available on Resy and priced at $75 per guest for Amex Card Members and $100 for general admission. Guests will also receive a Gold Café travel mug, a bag of Döňůt coffee, and a Dunkin’ gift card.
