For the first time ever American Express made its way inside the actual festival grounds with an ultra cool Amex Card member club.
A place where card members were able to escape the crowds and take a break from the party in an oasis-like setting. Located in GA near the central market, the lounge provided members with very much necessary mobile recharge stations, an Amex/Cash bar, and more.

Some of the celebs spotted here included Jesse Williams from Grey’s Anatomy and Victoria’s Secret Angel Alessandra Ambrosio.
In addition, this year American Express tapped into the RFID technology within each Coachella wristband to provide card members with the privileged benefits of the Card Member Club, Uber Priority Lane, free embroidery, and even a free Ferris Wheel ride.
Aside from all of the invite-only Coachella parties outside of the festival, the American Express Platinum House returned to the iconic Parker Palm Springs offering platinum card members a premium experience before they hit the polo fields on April 14-15.

Festival Goers had the chance to pre-game with the premium food and drinks offered and enhance their Coachella looks with stations by MILK Makeup and Saks Fifth Avenue which featured temporary tattoos by Tattly.
There were even crystal energy readings, reiki healing sessions, and a SoulCycle pop-up with live classes from master instructor Stacey Griffith.
If that didn’t sound premium enough already, guests at the Platinum House were entertained with live performances from Julia Michaels, Justine Skye, and more, as well as a DJ set by Hannah Bronfman.

E Bassy.
American Express always vows to provide card members with elevated and digitally innovative experiences and they did just that throughout Coachella weekend.
