The Knockturnal sat down with
Todd White, Founder & President, Ramzy Kahhale, of Dry Farm Wines at BLACKBARNRestaurant in NoMad.
Leading the largest natural wine club in the world, Todd is passionate about all things natural wine and we were able to taste 4 amazing wines from the brand.
As a holistic health-conscious person, I watch exactly what I put in my body, although I do enjoy a glass of red wine on occasion until I sat down with Todd I was unaware wine companies are not required to disclose their ingredients or additives, so you have no way of knowing what’s actually in your wine.
For example, Mega Purple, a type of super-concentrated grape juice, is a common additive that improves the color and body of red wine. It also stains your teeth and is 68% sugar content. It isn’t authentic. Dry farm wines Are 100% organically grown by small family farms. Every bottle is thoroughly vetted by the Dry Farm Wines team and lab tested by an independent lab to ensure quality and purity and meets a strict set of criteria, including sugar-free, low in sulfites, and low in alcohol. This means each wine is also friendly to many lifestyles, including Paleo, low-carb, and Ketogenic. It’s the favorite wine of those like me who are conscious of what we put into our bodies.
While talking about all things quality I asked about inspiration and learned that Todd’s grandmother was a great cook, he referred to his early memories of being in the kitchen with her. The soulful way she prepared the food for her family, the flavors the spices the love she put into her meals the way she took the food into her hands and delivered meals from
her heart. Todd still attributes his taste, to that intention, and energy of preparation to the product as he recalls cooking in the kitchen with her. Dry farms have a special niche and customers who order Wine online from their website. This direct-to-consumer model allows
businesses to benefit from exclusivity & can provide value to their audience.
I can appreciate the passion for what Todd and his team are doing to ensure that everyone can enjoy quality wines,
I was not only privileged to sit and meet and sip with the founder I employ you To learn more about their ethos and wines: https://www.dryfarmwines.com
