David Hart, a New York Men’s Day veteran who is known for his impeccably tailored suits and luxurious neckwear premiered his Fall 2017 collection during NYFW: Men’s at Dune Studios.
Hart’s collection entitled “The Award Season Presentation” was exactly that. Hart engulfedย guest into to his own award show world equipped withย a red carpet, bright lights, and a step and repeat.
Models posed playfully in an array of evening wear specific suits reminiscencesย of a 1970’s prom night only with better styling and higher qualityย materials. Ruffled dress shirts, bowties, silk scarves, tuxedo-style lapels, and plaids were all prominentย in the collection.ย Hart did away with bell bottoms and kept the suit fitted with a full-lengthย pant leg. ย My favorite piece was a red and navy checkered suit with emerald green accents. The look was completed with a beautiful green velvet bow tie and a baroque styleย scarf. Other stand out looks were a matte soft pink and shiny burnt orange suits.
All in all the collection was unique, fresh, modern, and sure to gain recognitionย on the best-dressed list.
