On Thursday November 17th Mexican star, Thalia, hosted an event to introduce her Holiday 2016 collection for Macy’s at the Dream Midtown in New York City. It was a joyful evening with laughter and dance moves surrounding the Latin star, who just finished her US Latina Love tour.
While guests waited for Thalia to arrive, they were mingling in between the games and holiday pieces. She gave a few words thanking everyone for coming to the event, and declaring the start of the holidays for this year. With a shot of tequila in hand, and the microphone in the other, Thalia got the party started and invited guests to join her in the dance floor.
With a full range of products, the collection featured a complete line of looks for this holiday season. From printed red dresses to silky polka doted pajama sets, all of the items had a fun touch to them. The cocktail dresses for example, had vibrant prints in contrasting colors, while the monochrome pieces, like the red sexy camisole and robe, had a combination of velvet with sturdier fabrics.
It is wonderful to see her different talents evolve throughout her career. From singer, to actress, pop queen, and now a fashion designer, it is certain that Thalia can do it all. After guests eyed the entire collection and made mental notes of which pieces to buy later, they re-directed their attention towards the photo booth and arcade games.
Choosing The Fishbowl, the Dream’s underground bar with a retro gaming parlor vibe as the evening’s venue was the perfect choice to present the fun and youthful collection designed by Thalia. It has a sleek mini bowling lane and other typical arcade games such as skeeball, which were an enjoyable addition to the clothes.
