On Thursday, May 5th, guests ventured to the opening of the new Madonna & Co. Boutique and Beauty Bar in Midtown East.
Light bites and glasses of champagne in hand, guests were free to explore the stylish boutique and beauty bar in the back. Defined as affordable luxury, all the pieces are unique yet attainable. They design 70% of the clothes themselves and the rest are capsule collections. The space encourages women to create one-of-a-kind looks with its unique mix of original and vintage pieces. The multi-generational Madonna & Co. house line touches on current fashion trends, and vintage items are sourced from unique collections and markets around the globes.
We got the chance to speak with owner and CEO, Geralynn Madonna, who told us “Our dream was to open up a beauty bar in addition to a boutique and really expand the concept and offer a great shopping experience.”
The beauty bar is a full service hair salon that also offers make up application. They work with all types of hair, but specialize in curly hair.
