The National Basketball Association and Teespring have launched a two week campaign with nearly 30 A-list celebrities and musicians creating shirts celebrating their favorite NBA teams.
This is the first ever partnership between Teespring and the National Basketball Association. Teespring markets itself as “a platform that makes it easy for anyone to create and sell high-quality products people love, with no cost or risk.” Because of this promotion, they are temporarily carrying NBA products.
These shirts will have officially licensed NBA logos while showcasing each celebrities personalities as they pay homage to their hometowns. The NBA champion Golden State Warriors teamed up with the Jerry Garcia Family to celebrate the Bay Area’s musical history, as well as social media NBA impressionists Bdot Adopt. The Philadelphia 76ers teamed up with The Roots, and the Denver Nuggets chose John Denver for their partnership. Other involved celebrities include Fall Out Boy representing the Chicago Bulls, DJ Khaled supporting the Miami Heat and the Backstreet Boys as a part of the Orlando Magic shirts.
These shirts are limited edition, meaning that they will never be sold again after this promotion. They cost $25.00 dollars and come in both male and female sizes, with some teams being lucky enough to have styles from several different artists.
