Bernie Sanders apparently stands no chance with Hillary Clinton dragging in the millennial voters.
Hillary Clinton is playing her cards right by trying to attract the millennial’s to vote for her. Clinton has teamed up with designers such as Marc Jacobs, Tory Burch and Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osbourne of Public School in order to create her new campaign t-shirts “Made for History”. Each of the designers were given the freedom to put their own twist on the shirts. Public School went for a simple black crewneck with varsity-like lettering. Tory Burch’s shirts featured rainbow script advocating womens rights while Marc Jacobs opted for a more ‘trippy’ pop art of Clintons face.
Kendall Jenner has already set the bars for this collection due to a post she put on Instagram. The young well-known model is shown wearing the shirt designed by Marc Jacob. Captioned under the picture shows: “Shirt by @themarcjacobs. History by @hillaryclinton. http://hrc.io/MadeForHistory #MadeForHistory #ImWithHer “
The three t-shirts in the collection, which cost $45 and all specify that they are “union printed,” are apparently just the beginning for her campaign. According to Vogue.com, more “designer merchandise” is expected in the months ahead.
Clinton’s campaign is hoping the connection with fashion will translate into some support from young Democrats. “I know I have some work to do, particularly with young people,” she stated.
