James Allen hosted an event with Whitney Port to celebrate holiday romance with their first ever pop-up shop at Time Warner Center’s The Shops at Columbus Circle.
The online diamond and bridal jewelry retailer treated guests to mini wedding cakes, opportunities to design their own ring with an expert and giveaways including a 3.02 carat round diamond with a custom setting valued at $25,000.
Fashion Designer and TV Personality Whitney Port was there to open the shop. Recently married herself, Port understands how useful James Allen is to brides to be. “I’m a picky, picky person and it’s just so cool that you can custom design something, because girls these days – everyone wants something custom, everyone wants something different – and guys have no idea where to start. So James Allen is just a really amazing resource. And I’m so excited to be here to launch their first-ever pop up,” she said at the event.

Guests also enjoyed a nine-foot installation of a diamond ring. The installation was to highlight the brand’s 360 Diamond Display that allows customers to examine any of the retailer’s stones and settings magnified at any angle.
“The holidays are peak engagement season and the perfect time to bring to life everything James Allen offers,” said Oded Edelman, CEO and Co-founder of the company in a statement.
