The lovely Vashtie was celebrating her birthday a little late yesterday. Sponsored by Moët & Chandon Nectar Impérial Rose, Downtown’s Sweetheart was thrown a “Dumb Late Birthday Party” last night at TAO.
Vashtie, the designer/artist/filmmaker, was given an amazing party last night for her late birthday which was back in April. Thrown at TAO Downtown, all of Vashtie’s friends were in attendance. Sponsored by Moet & Chandon, there was unlimited Moet going around the entire night as a complimentary gift for those who came out and celebrated the occasion. One of music’s top producers Just Blaze was spinning on the 1’s and 2’s. To coincide with the theme and name of the party, Vashtie made a tardy appearance which was a sigh of relief for those who attended. She placed herself in front of her “VASHTIE” made balloons which were blown up in gold and tied on onto Moet bottles. She soaked up the moment as cameras flashed nonstop to capture her.
Vashtie has had an interesting stamp in the industry, especially in the fashion lane. She recently wrapped up a collaboration with Puma in which she was able to showcase some new kicks, men’s and womens wear. On the music side, her name has been imprinted in that lane for quite some time. She has worked with artists such as Gym Class Heros, Joey Bada$$, Big Krit and Kendrick Lamar in helping them direct their music videos.
