The “Lexus Verses And Flow” event captured the minds and hearts of everyone in attendance. Hosted by Laz Alonzo, the event featured catered food, complimentary drinks, and of course a DJ spinning the hottest tunes.
Comedian Ron G kept the crowd loose and laughing while Jazmine Sullivan and the poetry acts got ready. When it was time, Laz introduced the sultry Grammy Nominated singer to the crowd’s delight. Jazmine Sullivan opened up with one of her biggest hits, “Let It Burn.” The live band added a layer of atmospheric energy that the lights complimented. The second song she performed got everyone off their seats. “Bust Your Windows” brought laughter to the building and maybe a few better forgotten experiences. Other musical performances by Charlie Wilson, B.o.B, Sevyn Streeter, Chrisette Michele, Leela James Melanie Fiona, Estelle, Jussie Smollet and will be featured across eight episodes. The events were attended by a bevy of celebrities including Empire’s Taraji P. Henson, Gloria Govan, Amber Riley, rapper Trinadad James, and more.
