Fashion, vibes, and classic New York came together as Ksubi and Paper Planes celebrated their collaboration in SoHo.
The Roc Nation- sponsored event was filled with good fashion, drinks, and music, and 7th Street Burger. Guests gathered at Ksubi’s SoHo store to celebrate the release of the brands’ limited – edition collection, surrounded by the energy of the city that inspired it.
The five- piece capsule brings together Australian denim label Ksubi and Paper Planes, the lifestyle brand founded by Jay – Z and Emory Jones. With a palette of black, white, and iron grey, the collaboration takes inspiration from New York and the styles that have made the city a fashion destination.
Ksubi CEO Craig King emphasized the city’s influence on the collaboration.
“New York has always been a second home for KSUBI. Both brands are inspired by the people, culture and energy of this city; this collection is really a representation of that,” King said.
The piece that stood out most to us was the Ksubi x Planes varsity jacket. With its black – and- cream colorway, the jacket brings a classic silhouette into the collection and makes a statement on its own.
Denim lovers can also find the Oh G Jacket, reworked in an exclusive iron grey wash, and the relaxed – fit Maxx Jeans, finished with Paper Planes embroidery. A long- sleeve rugby top and co – branded New Era snapback complete the collection.
From the clothing to the atmosphere, the celebration brought the collaboration’s New York inspiration to life. The collection debuted at Ksubi’s SoHo store on Oct. 15 and became available online on Oct. 16. Shop the Ksubi x Paper Planes collection online and at Ksubi’s U.S. retail locations.
