In the summer of 2024, Ella Isaacson posted a now-viral TikTok, a hazy, dreamlike clip where she posed in a gorgeous silk dress and congratulated viewers for finding her “before I become a pop star.” It was part charm, part prophecy. Fast forward less than a year, and that prediction is coming true.

Last Wednesday, Isaacson took the stage at the iconic Mercury Lounge in New York City for a powerful show that showed off her vibrant personality, impeccable style and stand-out vocals. Backed by an excited and electric crowd, the rising pop-rock powerhouse delivered a set made up of some of her top-streamed hits and some all-new treats.

Known for blending 2000s-era pop-rock anthems with raw, confessional songwriting, Isaacson performed viral hits like “FMLYLM” and “Armageddon,” songs that have racked up over 30 million streams on TikTok alone and made her a standout on playlists like Spotify’s SALT and Apple Music’s BREAKING POP. Her voice, powerful and pleading in all the right places, filled the room with emotional intensity, matched by her dynamic stage presence.
Isaacson’s songs are beautifully honest. Her storytelling skills combine with her vocal talent to create the perfect blend of relatability and danceability. “I just feel like there’s a dance between the old and the new,” Isaacson said to the crowd. “So I wanted to write a song about that feeling.”

The night also marked the live debut of her latest single, “What the Hell,” a cathartic, slow-burn anthem that had fans filming feverishly for what’s sure to be her next viral moment. After the show, the celebration continued just a few blocks away at Fig19, a dimly lit speakeasy that hosted an intimate after-party for friends and VIPs.
