Starting today, the iconic Circle Line Harbor Lights Tour will run with a holiday theme until the end of the year.
Earlier this month, we were able to climb aboard Circle Line’s iconic boat and settle in for some good ole holiday cheer. A time-honored tradition for over 75 years, the Circle Line is the preeminent boat tour in the city, offering a blissful escape for visitors and locals alike.
Looping through the heart of the city, Circle Line’s familiar journey took on a festive transformation this time around. Dripping in festive garland, mistletoe and twinkle lights, the Harbor Lights Tour, a regular feature of the city’s waterways, becomes a beacon of holiday cheer with the launch of the Holiday Harbor Lights Cruise, launching today, December 4th. Passengers, accustomed to the rhythmic dance of the city lights, are now treated to a spectacular display of twinkling holiday lights, green garlands, and Christmas trees adorning the warm festive boats.
Amidst the holiday enchantment, passengers can beat the winter chill by indulging in warm seasonal cocktails inspired by the iconic Radio City Rockette’s Christmas Spectacular. We were able to sample the Rockette-tini, a salted caramel Martini boasting the flavors of the season, as well as enjoy the Kick Line, a Rockettes-twist on classic rum punch with a kick. Whether a family outing, a date night, or you’re just looking a holiday maritime experience with close friends, the scenic route of the evening tour will bring new perspectives to this great city.
Along with a tour, guests are welcome to sample classic cocktails such as Peppermint Hot Chocolate, Irish Coffee, and Hot Toddies. We can’t understate how cozy and relaxing the entire experience is, really putting anyone who’s holding out, into the holiday spirit. Along with the holiday spirit, guests will enjoy the touches of a Circle Line tour including unbelievable sights, free WiFi, plenty of seating, and an on-board cafe.
