Stylist and creative director Ravishin’ Swiss has worked with a long list of artists, but most recently has locked in with the talented 41 collective including Jenn Carter, Tata & Kyle Rich. Ravishin’s previous clients include Lil Uzi, NBA Young Boy, Quando Rando and more. Ravishin’s journey has been rewarding, yet tumultuous. Initially entering the industry as an artist, Ravishin’ experienced many hurdles including incarceration and an accident that left him debilitated and in a coma due to medical negligence. After regaining consciousness, Ravishin’ had to learn how to walk again, but that certainly didn’t slow him down. Most would not be able to bounce back the way Ravishin’ did, but he used his pain and second chance at life to propel him towards success. We recently caught up with Ravishin’ on the set of 41’s upcoming “Stop Dissin'” video.

The Knockturnal: Can you please tell us what the looks are for today for each artist?

Ravishin Swiss: So I have four different looks. Four of them are camo looks. So they’re all gonna be in like military flags, camo pants army vests, military jackets for, to have the ensemble for the “stop dissin’” record.

The Knockturnal: Where did you draw inspiration from for today’s looks?

Ravishin Swiss: So we just came up with the idea. I was given some direction from the director about how they wanted a military theme, so I started like outsourcing like military looks and like military movies.

The Knockturnal: Which piece are you most excited about today?

Ravishin Swiss: The custom Louis Vuitton ski pants that I made.

The Knockturnal: How long have you been working with the 41 collective?

Ravishin Swiss: So I’ve been working with 41 for like a year now. So like the last four months it’s been more heavy, but I’ve been working them, since last year because I actually made the Louis Vuitton bomber jacket that Kyle Rich had on his, On The Radar freestyle that went viral. That has over 10 million views now.

The Knockturnal: Do you prefer styling on sets, like for shoots and videos or do you prefer styling clients for events?

Ravishin Swiss: It goes depending on the artists because some artists I like styling for their live performances because they’re more in a costume design and some artists I like styling for videos. Videos I can get more creative and I got more timing.

The Knockturnal: Can you give us some of your styling highlights?

Ravishin Swiss: I made pieces for Little Uzi. I did a custom XO Tour Lif3 denim jacket. I did NBA Young Boy’s Jacket for Colors and I did it for his last album. I made him a custom puffer for 3860 with him and Quando Rondo. I made both of them custom puffers, a black bandana 4K Tee jacket for Young Boy and a purple jacket for Quando Rondo out of their merch.

The Knockturnal: What is your ultimate creative dream?

Ravishin Swiss: My ultimate creative dream is to be a household name. So I want to have my presence where you see my brand aesthetic everywhere like on toasters, on clothing. I have my own paint, I got my own shoes etc.

The Knockturnal: Who is someone you wanna style that you haven’t yet?

Ravishin Swiss:I would love to work with Pharrell on a project like number one person I would love to work with is Pharrell.

The Knockturnal: How can people work with you or order one of your pieces and are they all custom?

Ravishin Swiss: All my pieces right now are custom, so I do like merch collaboration drops, like once in a blue moon if you catch it, I’ll do a drop and the best way to contact me is normally through email. My site will be up probably in the next 30 days.
