The stars of STARZ’s Powerbook II: Ghost appeared on the red carpet this week on the worldwide premiere of their second season.
Powerbook II: Ghost Showrunner Courtney A. Kemp and stars Mary J. Blige, Michael Rainey, Jr., Paige Hurd, LaToya Tonodeo, Alix Lapri, Daniel Sunjata, Berto Colon, Shane Johnson, Gianni Paolo and more stars from the Power universe put their best foot forward on the black carpet to view episode one which follows up from the cliffhanger from the previous season. With the season picking up from where it last left off, there will be crime and punishment that will be dished out to our favorite characters.
We got the chance to catch up with cast members Michael Rainey Jr, Shane Johnson, Gianni Paolo, Berto Colon, Lovell Adams- Gray, and Powerbook III: Raising Kanan’s Toby Sandeman about the premiere this week in these exclusive interviews below.
After the black carpet and the premiere, the afterparty took place at The Standard hotel in lower Manhattan, NY. It was a packed night with music that was playing the entire night. The cold weather did not stop this event from happening as the turnout was excellent. Of course, everyone that attended required for them to be vaccinated!
