NO MANA x TOMMY TRASH – CAN’T SAY NO [MAU5TRAP]
No Mana is bringing back the golden-era of electro house, and to kick off this new saga of unadulterated musical nostalgia is none other thanΒ No ManaΒ andΒ Tommy Trash themselves. Joining forces for their newΒ 4-minute “Can’t Say No,” the pair create a mellifluous time machine preparedΒ to transport listeners back in time to the era of Hype Machine reviews and MySpace top 8’s. A sonic display of technical production prowess, the ferocious cut opens with luridΒ synths as Tommy Trash’s own vocals melt into it’s over-the-top buildup. Frenetic old-school synths and digital distortion best characterize thisΒ unparagoned production that seemingly stepped straight out of blog haus’ hay-dayΒ and into 2021. No Mana and Tommy Trash’s “Can’t Say No” marks the new era of electro house’s triumphant return.
SIMON DOTY – ‘SOLARIS’ EP [ANJUNADEEP]
Simon Doty is back on Anjunadeep with βSolarisββfour distinct tracks that together evoke summer, and the long-awaited return to clubbing. In the lead track, a peak-time groove carries twangling synths in short chord riffs that blossom into signature Doty melody, along with a vocal call and teasingly haunting breakdowns. βHouse For Allβ is summery and celebratory, with vocal riffs and strong piano to lift and magnify the beat. ‘Belikewaterβ takes us to steamy rainforests, as rippling riffs entwine and entrance. Featured on Anjunadeep 12, βA bit more of a peak time progressive vibeβ named after a famous quote from Bruce Lee speaking to versatility and tenacity. The EP closes with ‘Requiem‘: deep bass reverb lends gravitas to hissing hi-hats and swift jazzy piano, while the sustained breakdown has a more ambient feel with breathy vocals and noble strings
NITTI GRITTI – THE LOUD/LOSING COUNT [HUSH MONEY RECORDS]
Miami DJ, producer, and vocalistΒ Nitti Gritti has joined forces with Tampa bass favoriteΒ Blunts & BlondesΒ on new double-singleΒ βThe Loud / Losing Countβ – marking the first time they’ve officially worked together since their surprise b2b performance at Okeechobee Music Festival 2018. On the A-side,Β βThe LoudβΒ sees both Florida artists come together on a track that juxtaposes blissed-out vocals and relaxed instrumentation with a flurry of mammoth dubstep drops. On the flip,Β βLosing CountβΒ applies a similar method. AΒ Nitti GrittiΒ solo effort, the track opens with sunkissed, vocal-laced percussion that quickly shifts tempo to make way for more behemoth drops.
ANORAAK – ‘KARMA’ EP [ENDLESS SUMMER]
In the world of retro-synth aficionados, the moniker Anoraak has become synonymous with quality. His unique blend of synthwave that combines disco and new wave pushed him to the forefront of a crop of notable staples in the scene, includingΒ College,Β Miami Horror,Β andΒ Chromatics. In 2020, during lockdown, RiviΓ¨re found himself with an abundance of time and an insatiable urge to experiment with new soundscapes, namely his most beloved genre of all: disco. As a lifelong creative, he decided to follow his instinct and pour his soul into creating something ridden with groove, flavor, and character. The result was hisΒ GangΒ EP, a 4-track introduction to his new sonic persona. The EP also marked the beginning of a new creative partnership between him and French-Moroccan singer/songwriterΒ Sarah Maison, who took him to uncharted territory with her use of French lyricism. The collaboration proved effortless, leading to the duoβs follow-up EP,Β Karma. The 5 tracks combine pop, disco, house, and indie elements as an homage to one of dance musicβs most darling genres.

After establishing a noteworthy career in the bandΒ Lotus,Β Luke The KnifeΒ is finally ready to unveil his debut album under his solo project. With over a decade of honing his artistic abilities, Luke The Knifeβs debut LP,Β Disco Nap, effortlessly showcases his undeniable musical prowess and groovy sensibilities. The nine-track offering takes the listener on an eclectic journey filled with funky beats and experimental melodies that form a sonically cohesive package. SAYMYNAME x EDISON COLE – CHAOS [ULTRA MUSIC]
Trailblazing HardTrap musician SAYMYNAME has teamed up with up-and-coming music producer Edison ColeΒ in their latest, “Chaos”. The intense and heart-pounding track features SAYMYNAME weaving in his signature hardcore sound with melodic undertones that underscore much of Edison Coleβs bass-heavy music. We’re expecting much more from the Los Angeles-area native, as he gains momentum with new music and performances coming throughout 2021. βChaosβ is just the first of many highly anticipated releases due out this summer as SAYMYNAME gears up for his Mayhem Tour in Fall 2021.Β
MAZARA – HEARTBEAT [ENSIS RECORDS]
Representing the hybrid between bass house and future house, Mazara stuck his foot in the dance music scene with his single, “Level Up”, which found a home on Ensis Records. Mazara returns to Ensis with “Heartbeat”, an explosive new bass house single packed with solid basslines and powerful leads.
VARIOUS – ‘ROAD 96’ OST [G4F RECORDS]
G4F RecordsΒ returns to the release radar with the original soundtrack for the upcoming adventure video gameΒ Road 96, due for release this summerΒ via France-based studioΒ Digixart. The forthcoming video game divulges into a unique road trip survival storyline all whilst meeting new people, discovering new places, and experiencing new challenges. The soundtrack features some of the biggest names in synthwave and electro, such as Cocoon,Β Robert Parker, andΒ The Toxic Avenger, to name a few.
APASHE – TIME WARP FT. SAMI CHAOUKI [KANNIBALEAN RECORDS]
Canadian bass superstar Apashe has returned to the release radar with βTime Warp,βΒ marking his first highly-anticipated musical endeavor of the year. This time around, heβs enlisted the vocal ability of fellow Canadian and vocalistΒ Sami Chaouki.
