The Atlanta-bred rapper has already made history by becoming the first female rapper from the city to receive a certified Gold plaque by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). “I’ve been doing this for so long, I feel like I don’t ever want to put in all this work and set myself up to have this huge career for it to be an overnight blow up – here today, gone tomorrow type of situation.”
The rapper has earned her bragging rights this year and shows no signs of slowing down! Today, Mulatto released “Queen of Da Souf (Extended Version) via RCA Records and her new video for “Sex Lies” featuring Lil Baby. The soon-to-be 22-year old first grew to fame in 2016 by becoming the winner of Jermaine Dupri’s Lifetime show, The Rap Game. Now, Mulatto is taking the music industry by storm with her slick talk and provocative lyrics, sex appeal, and her hit songs featuring some of the hottest artists in the game such as 2 Chainz, Gucci Mane, and Saweetie. This year, Big Latto signed to RCA records, dropped her smash hit, “Muwop” featuring Gucci Mane, and proved that she is the ‘Queen of Da Souf’ on her debut album.
