If you’re into rom-com movies, then you’ll possibly love Palm Springs. But keep in mind that this rom-com isn’t your typical romantic wedding movie for the average hopeless romantic!
This new Lonely Island-produced movie is coming into your home via Hulu with Andy Samberg ( Saturday Night Live, Brooklyn Nine-Nine) alongside Cristin Milioti (How I Met Your Mother) as the main leads of the movie. Palm Springs follows a carefree dude- who’s not really into weddings and a reluctant maid-of-honor (sister of the bride)- who get trapped in a time loop at a Palm Springs wedding. The film ultimately has gotten positive reviews from premiering at the Sundance Film Festival. If that’s not enough to get you excited to see the film, you should know that the cast also includes Camila Mendes (Riverdale), J.K. Simmons (Whiplash), and Meredith Hagner (Search Party).
I spoke with the cast about everything from their roles in the movie, how was it like auditioning for the movie, how they’re keeping busy throughout the pandemic and personal crazy wedding stories. Aside from the movie, Andy Samberg spoke about the troubling issues the country is facing at the moment and how Brooklyn Nine-Nine is thinking about starting in a new direction for the show!
