Life goes on. Art goes on.

As the pandemic seems to be slowing down and doors are starting to open there is a deep realization that our world will never be the same. Things that matter to us will not be taken for granted ever again. With that notion is a deep appreciation for art in all forms. For some there will be joy in walking the great halls of a museum to admire a painting. There will be happiness to be at a concert with thousands of attendees. And for others it will be the freedom to admire canvases on the human form up close and personal.

Prized master tattoo artist Dan Price is leading the movement to get art business rolling again and rolling strong. The ink industry master is no stranger to being in a leading roll. In fact it is his tenacious energy that has over the years led to a successful career with a fan following from some of the biggest celebrities on the planet.

Easily considered to be one of the most desirable international tattoo artists, Dan is most known for working in the world of black and grey realism that is on the likes of Justin Bieber, Johnny Manziel, John Geiger and many more famous faces. Certainly his destiny from a young age to draw has taken his adulthood to places only few can dream. After learning his craft in the field by working with Chris Nunez, Dan’s tattoo tale was just getting started. It is his unique passionate vision that is driving his work to continue despite the pandemic.

He is leaving his permanent mark on the ink industry. There is simply no stopping this craftsman as he shapes his legacy in the field. The Miami-based artist over the past few years has been making waves globally. In between founding The Lab Tattoo in Delaware, he also spent time traveling around the world and gaining a loyal fan base. Price has left his permanent paintings on clients in Amsterdam, Barcelona and Costa Rica for over a decade. Being in high-demand will lead to him globetrotting to be a guest artist at parlors once again when lockdowns loosen their holds. As the environment unites its grasp so too will the art world be set free again.

The incredible ink master is next looking to make his move and leave his signature style in the Maldives, Tulum, Iceland, Egypt, and New Zealand in the near future. Get ready world. Art will not stop. Life will not stop.

Socializing From Home with Sensible Socialite is a new column focusing on communities and individuals thriving during the pandemic.
