Drake and Rihanna goes to “Work” in their new reggae themed video.
After a 30 second teaser that Rihanna and Drake put out of their single “Work,” they’ve finally released the full length video and boy did they put in work. They made not only one, but two parts to the reggae-themed song. I guess ‘grinding’ on Drake in a club wasn’t enough for Rihanna. The first part of the video was shot by Director X and it features the two dancing in a dancehall bashment at a jerk chicken spot. Rihanna sported a red, black, green and yellow mesh dress with a similar colored two piece bikini underneath. It seems as though she wanted to connect back to her Bajan roots.
The second part to the steamy video was directed by Tim Erem. The two got away from the crowd to spend some alone time in a neon-lit room. This time, Rihanna left little to the imagination by wearing a sparkly sheer top. She is seen dancing for Drake as he sits back on a couch and enjoys the show. Both videos has definitely caught my complete attention.
The track appears on Rihanna’s eighth album Anti, which was released in late January.
Rihanna recently announced that she will be postponing several dates for her Anti world tour due to her having bronchitis. She has also cancelled her Grammy performance because of her illness. She was set to perform an “Eighties talk show-inspired sketch” with Late Late Show host James Cordern but was put on vocal rest.
