2 Chainz shared his newest album “Pretty Girls Like Trap Music” at an exclusive listening party hosted by Def Jam with an intimate crowd on June 8th.

Despite the original venue being cancelled due to capacity issues, 2 Chainz put on a show for those that still turned up in support of the rapper’s latest work at the Up & Down in New York City.

Crowds surrounded 2 Chainz as he spoke about his newest “artistic expression” in collaboration with well-known producers to the likes of Swizz Beatz, Mike Will Made-It, and many more.

“You won’t hear anything like it out in the music industry today,” said 2 Chainz as he explained the depth of his latest creation.

And boy, was he right.

Pretty Girls Like Trap Music is unlike any music in circulation today. 2 Chainz melded his deep tenor with the right amount of bass and rhythm to create something wildly inventive.

Along with hits like “Good Drank” and “It’s a Vibe”, the rapper “from the corner of the ATL”, took the crowd on a journey through the Atlanta trap music scene.

With such a wide range of features from singers like Pharrell to rappers like The Migos, the album gives the rap genre a versatility that has been lacking as of late.

2 Chainz’s new album has the possibility to rival Drake’s hit album of 2017, More Life, with its synth undertones, melodic rhythms, and easy flow.

Be on the look out everyone, because 2 Chainz’s Pretty Girls Like Trap Music might become your summer banger.

The album drops June 16th and is now available for pre-order.
