1. Rey has felt the force’s influence on her life way before the events of the film
When Kylo Ren mentally tortures her and reads her thoughts, he reveals that she dreams of an island in ocean when she can’t sleep at night. We find out at the end of the film that Luke is on an island sort of in the middle of an ocean, very much like in her dreams. Sounds more like Luke was calling to her through the force.
