Last night was the Los Angeles Premiere of Well Go USA Entertainment’s Ip Man 3.
From the film: Donnie Yen and Mike Tyson were joined by additional celebrity guests Snoop Dogg, Zoe Kravitz, George Lewis Jr. (aka Twin Shadow), Bai Ling, Grandmaster William Cheung, American Ninja Warrior co-host Akbar Gbajabiamila, Harry Shum Jr, Suicide Squad’s Karen Fukuhara, MMA fighters Carla Esparza and Shane Fazen, Danny Musico, The Next Karate Kid’s Chris Conrad, Ameican Ninja’s, Michael Dudikoff, DJ Whoo Kid, musician Richard Walters, Aasha Davis, Chris Pang, andAnthony De Longis.
The screening was held at Pacific Theatres at The Grove. Following the screening, guests headed over to Mixology for cocktails and canapes.
Donnie Yen ignites the screen in a return to his iconic role of Ip Man, the real-life Wing Chun Kung Fu master who mentored Bruce Lee. In this explosive third installment of the blockbuster martial arts series, when a band of brutal gangsters led by a crooked property developer (Mike Tyson) make a play to take over the city, Master Ip is forced to take a stand. Fists will fly as some of the most incredible fight scenes ever filmed, choreographed by the legendary Yuen Woo Ping (The Matrix, Kill Bill), play out on the big screen in this soon-to-be classic of the genre.
The film hits theaters January 22. It is 105 Minutes.
