Several first-team players attended, including Sam Smith, Zak Vyner, Nathan Broadhead, Kieffer Moore, Josh Windass, Dom Hyam, and Lewis O’Brien. The gathering also marked a major stop on the WREXHAM IN THE USA 2026 Summer Tour.
Wrexham may have lost 1–0 at Yankee Stadium, but the club still won over New York. The celebration also reflected Wrexham AFC’s remarkable rise after three consecutive promotions. The club now competes in the EFL Championship.
Founded in 1864, Wrexham AFC remains the oldest football club in Wales. It is also the world’s third-oldest professional team. Rob Mac and Ryan Reynolds own the club. Their vision includes reaching the Premier League and continuing to grow Wrexham’s global following.
Finally, the summer tour will conclude in Philadelphia. Wrexham AFC will face Sunderland AFC at Subaru Park on August 2.
