The best way to describe the DJ work of the 19-year old Chicago native, Ethan Snoreck is “feel good magnetic”.
Better known by his stage name Whethan, the budding DJ’s latest collaboration with London pop duo “Oh Wonder” is an electropop release called “Superlove”, an electric synth-heavy jam with a tropical vibe – the perfect introduction to summer.
Whethan says,
“Being able to collaborate with ‘Oh Wonder’ was such an honor. I have been a fan of them and their music for a long time. So excited to show this song because it takes me to such a happy place. Josephine and Anthony were amazing to work with and couldn’t be happier with this final product.”
The song features the sultry voice of Josephine Vander Gucht and the rich complimentary tone of Anthony West, both members of “Oh Wonder”.
The pop duo and the DJ clicked instantly, writing the song in a half hour.
The duo said, “love what’s he done with the production and he instantly knew how the song should sound. Whethan is a true talent.”
The DJ on the rise has worked with notable names such as Duo Lipa, and first began his career remixing fan favorites of Louis the Child and ZAYN. The release of the new single also brings a list of Whethan’s tour dates.
