Jumanji is back, so get ready for some action.
Prepare yourselves for some family filled adventure this winter. December 2017 marks the return of the classic story of the adventure Jumanji. For those who aren’t aware of the old story, I’ve placed a link to the trailer of the original, starring the late Robin Williams. In the new adventure, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, four teenagers in detention are sucked into the world of Jumanji. They discover an old video game they’ve never heard of and are thrust into the game’s jungle setting, in their avatar’s bodies. The avatars are played by Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black, Kevin Hart and Karen Gillan. The teens learn that their lives are on the line, having to go on the most dangerous adventure of their lives in order to ensure that they are not stuck in the game forever.
Alongside Johnson, Gillan, Hart, and Black are Nick Jonas and Bobby Cannavale. The screenplay for the new film was written by Chris McKenna, based on the original story by Chris Van Allsburg. Producers David Householter, Dwayne Johnson, Dany Garcia, Ted Field and Mike Weber worked closely with director Jake Kasdan to bring the project together.
