Run The Jewels performed at Vevo’s Exclusive Newfront Presentation last week in New York at Penn Plaza Pavillion.
Killer Mike and El-P pulled up to New York to showcase a special performance for Vevo & friends last week. The intimate affair featured endless appetizers, an open bar, and a Vevo video photo booth. This special performance marked their first show back in New York since their Terminal 5 performance.
The crowd was restless, waiting for Run The Jewels, but when they finally came out the speakers were so loud that fans had to take a step back to appreciate the show. The loudness, however, did not prevent true fans from crowding near the stage as Run The Jewels performed some of their hits.Killer Mike was rocking a Volcom shirt while El-P was felxing in a black leather jacket and shades. Run The Jewels started off with “Talk to Me” followed later on by “Call Ticketron” and “Blockbuster Night Part 1” and many more.
Towards the end of the night servers brought out an array of desserts, the walls were adorned with doughnuts and pretzels and there was even a gourmet ice cream sandwich station. Post show festivities did not end there as Andre 3000 and Big Boi showed up backstage to show their love and support for Mike & El-P.
Jay-Z also announced earlier today that Run The Jewels will be one of the headlining acts for Made In America 2017 along with Solange, J.Cole and many more.
