Tom Dixon showcased his latest set of creations with the Black Collection. The reveal took place on June 21st at their wonderful showroom in Culver City, California.
Walking into the showroom, my eyes immediately caught the glossy pebbled stone shaped lights. Each piece looked individually personalized, hovering over the crowd. The translucent layer on the lamps drew my eyes even closer as I could see my reflection. Across the room were these rich lacquer finish lights in various shapes. The interior golden brass illuminated anything the light shined on.
The event was filled with cocktails and canapes, including non-alcoholic spirits by Seedlip. The live DJ’s 80s punk rock playlist added a rebellious tone to the room, complimenting the collection and attendees.
