If you’re a fan of the NFL you’re probably anticipating this weekend! The NFL playoffs will begin in less than 24 hours starting with the Wild Card games.
NFL fans I hope you’re ready! One of the biggest moments in the National Football sport is starting this weekend, the playoffs. All season we have been watching all teams from both the AFC and NFC compete to reach one of the biggest stages in sports. The time is finally here when we’ll get to see what most of these teams are made off.
Starting tomorrow at 4:35 PM the Kansas City Chiefs will be going head up against the Houston Texans in NRG Stadium which is located in Houston. With Houston hosting this game against a well balanced Chiefs team carried by Alex Smith, this is promised to be a great game to start off the weekend.
The Chiefs and Texans game will then be followed by one of the most highly anticipated games of this Wild Card weekend, The Pittsburgh Steelers vs. the Cincinnati Bengals. The Bengals were one of NFL’s most talked about teams as they came in 3rd place in league with a record of 12-4 (5-1 Division). After Andy Dalton’s injury, AJ McCarron lead the team to the end of the season. This game is bound to be a jaw dropper as the Pittsburgh Steelers are carried by Antonio Brown and “Big” Ben Roethlisberger .
The weekend then continues on with Sunday’s games. The first game will be Seattle Seahawks vs. the Minnesota Vikings. Russell Wilson, Doug Baldwin and the rest of that Seattle offense have been playing lights out football. So have the Vikings. Teddy Bridgewater has stepped up to be a leader of this offense while Adrian Peterson once again takes home the rushing title. Will the weather be a factor for this game? The forecast shows single digit degrees with a wind chill in the negatives. We’ll see!
The second game will take place in Maryland as the Green Bay Packers go head to head with the Washington Redskins. This is going to be a great game as Kirk Cousins, a new comer to most, will be facing up with one of NFL’s premier QB’s in Aaron Rodgers.
Tune in as we prepare for a great weekend in football!
