The holiday season is upon us with herds of tourists, family members and well-heeled business travelers bound for New York City. The Big Apple is full of hotels, but with so many options, finding accommodations to rest, relax and recharge after a long day of sightseeing, shopping, dining and work can be a bit of a challenge. A standout hotel that offers a welcome dose of comfortability, quietness and luxury for all types of guests is the impressive new Hyatt RegencyΒ Times SquareβManhattanβs firstΒ Hyatt Regency property that recently made its long-awaited debut after a breathtaking multi-million dollar transformation.
Located in the middle of bustlingΒ Times Square at 1605 Broadway and between West 48th and West 49th Street, the stunning Hyatt RegencyΒ Times Square is steps from the razzle dazzle of Broadwayβs theater district and Midtownβs officeΒ core. The hotelβs convenient location is a great starting point for exploring the city, but what makes this hotel top-notch is its modern, clean and spacious guest rooms. After extensive renovations, the entire 795-room hotel is large and brand new with well-lit gorgeous bathrooms, oversized showers and plush premium beds that you’ll melt right into. Itβs a calm and welcoming environment with thoughtful design touches. For theater lovers, thereβs even an immersiveΒ Mamma Mia! themed guest room celebrating the iconic musical.
The Knockturnal spent a quick, one-night stay at the Hyatt Regency Times Square in a bright, king-sized bedroom and it was bigger than most standard size New York hotel rooms. The space featured neutral tones, an extremely comfortable mattress, a channel tufted headboard, a spa-like rain shower, a huge closet and plenty of storage and workspace. The room also had thick, oversized windows with sweeping views of the flashy billboards that bombard Times Square. Best of all, the soundproof guest room provided an oasis designed to offer the ultimate night’s rest. Youβll forget the hotel is smack in the heart of Times Square. It was so quiet!
Not only are the rooms big, guests at the Hyatt Regency Times Square will experience the grandeur of the hotel from the moment they step onto the property. A luminous soaring porte cochere leads to a two-story lobby that is extremely spacious and features a two-story high ceiling. The rest of the entire 46-floor hotel is massive with a full-service fitness center on the 15th floor and a vast restaurant, called Cue 48, that overlooks the lights of 48th Street. The eatery is expected to open later this fall.
Overall, the Hyatt RegencyΒ Times Square is extremely convenient for the traditional tourist-centric activities, but the cozy guest rooms that have been designed to be a home away from home environment is what makes this hotel a winner and perfect for work and pleasure. Donβt miss out on this great hotel.
