All-you-can-eat buffets have long been synonymous with Las Vegas. While the number of buffets in Sin City has fluctuated, they remain a popular and iconic part of the Vegas experience. Casinos are maintaining high-end, extravagant buffets on the Strip that offer visitors—and locals—a wide range of delicious food options. But which buffet is worth visiting? And where can you feast like a king and queen and not max out your credit card?

The Bacchanal Buffet at Caesars Palace is the answer. It’s the ultimate buffet destination with 250-plus menu items that are bound to please the palates of everyone. Guests here can enjoy an epic meal by eating endless lobster claws, buttery snow crab legs, tender smoked brisket, slow-cooked juicy prime rib, roasted bone marrow, meticulously made sushi, Roman-style pizza, pasta, tacos, an Asian station for BBQ pork buns, pot stickers, dumplings, and much, much more.

The Knockturnal visited the Bacchanal Buffet on August 11 for a tasting, and the entire experience was first-rate. All the decadent food served at Bacchanal Buffet was outstanding and unbelievably fresh. As for dessert, all the pastries and gelato are made in small portions so you can try many dishes, including crème brûlée, egg tarts, berry cheesecake, and tiramisu. Each bite of the sweet treats was heavenly.

The place was buzzing with herds of hungry guests. And from the looks of their happy faces, they all left full and satisfied. So did we. Jeffrey Gurecki, a chef de cuisine at the Bacchanal Buffet, greeted us and shared that the chefs at Bacchanal are working hard to please guests by elevating each dish that is being prepared. He also revealed that the Bacchanal Buffet goes through about a whopping 70-90 cases of crabs and 15 cases of lobsters to feed guests.

The Bacchanal Buffet is considered to be the largest buffet in Las Vegas, with over 25,000 square feet to indulge in flavors from around the world. The newly renovated dining room is an elegant and sprawling space that has been designed to let guests immerse themselves in beautifully decorated air, water, and wood-themed atmospheres. The Bacchanal Buffet also features 10 open kitchens and 9 chef-attended action stations. Everything is opulent. The carving stations are luxurious, lavish towers of shellfish are neatly presented in a glass-encased serving counter, and the spectacular dessert area features tiny cake cubes that are frosted in perfect uniformity. The setting is beautiful and the right place for every occasion and celebration—from business entertainment to spending time with family and loved ones over a good meal.

As for the service, all the staff members were very friendly, prompt, and attentive. Discarded plates vanished before customers returned to the table, and sodas were constantly refilled without even asking.

From Monday through Thursday, Bacchanal Buffet is open from 2:30 pm – 9 pm, and from Friday through Sunday, the hours are 9 am – 10 pm. Reservations are strongly recommended. As for the cost, the price is very reasonable. From Monday through Thursday, it’s $86.99 per person plus tax. Friday through Sunday from 9 am – 3 pm for brunch, it’s $86.99 per person plus tax. And Friday through Sunday from 3 pm-10 pm for dinner, it’s $91 per person plus tax.

So the next time you’re visiting Vegas or a local looking for an indulgent and over-the-top experience, check out The Bacchanal Buffet at Caesars Palace. Their buffet bonanza has the most elaborate food spreads that will leave you feeling full and happy.
