Critics’ Choice Awards 2016: ‘La La Land’ Sweeps Show Winning Best Picture and More

With award season starting up, the oft-Oscar predictor Critics’ Choice Awards presented its selection of the best in television and film last Sunday. Competing in twelve categories, Damien Chazelle’s technicolored musical La La Land stole the ceremony, taking home the most awards that night including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Cinematography and more.

In the television side of events, FX’s The People V. O.J. Simpson continued its reign of success, picking up four awards. Atlanta and Baskets also each won an award, making FX the big network winner of the night with six overall wins.

T.J. Miller returned to host the show, which was broadcast live by A&E. Check out the nominee list along with the winner’s below.
