In a Violent Nature is a 2024 slasher directed by Chris Nash and released in theaters by IFC Films on May 31. It takes the Friday the 13th setup and follows the killer instead of the campers. Our verdict: tense and striking in stretches, held back by thin human characters, and we would still see a sequel.
