“We are proud to be making Broadway history with She Loves Me, the show that launched Roundabout’s Musical Theatre Program in 1993. As a nonprofit institution, this is an incredible opportunity for us to share Scott Ellis’s new Broadway production beyond our subscribers, donors and other ticket buyers for our limited run at Studio 54,” said Todd Haimes, Roundabout Theatre Company’s Artistic Director. “This groundbreaking partnership with BroadwayHD allows us to bring She Loves Me to a large audience throughout the United States, and around the globe.”

You can reserve a live stream pass to She Loves Me on June 30 at 8 p.m. EDT for $9.99 by visiting broadwayhd.com/shelovesme.  The live stream is on BroadwayHD’s Roku and Apple TV apps.  You also have the opportunity for annual subscriptions to BroadwayHD’s on-demand library.

She Loves Me is a touching musical comedy classic about finding true love like they did in the good ole’ days (courting, dating, before facebook and tinder). It follows Georg (Levi) and Amalia (Benanti), two parfumerie clerks who are oceans apart from being best of friends. They constantly bump heads while on the job, and the two characters struggle to find common ground. The twist, however, is that they are each others anonymous romantic pen pals and have been falling for each other, unknowingly all along. Will their relationship blossom once their identities are truly revealed?

written by Catherina Gioino

The latest show from the Roundabout Theatre Company will feature Keira Knightley, Gabriel Ebery, Judith Light, and Matt Ryan in the play adaptation of Emile Zola’s novel of the same name, Therese Raquin. Adapted for the theater by Helen Edmundson and directed by Evan Cabnet, the play will officially open on October 29 and will be on a limited engagement through January 3 at Studio 54.

While this is her Broadway debut, Knightley will play Therese, a young woman who is forced to stand by the side of her selfish husband, played by Ebert. Light will star as her mother in law, causing her a great ordeal of stress, all until she meets her husband’s childhood friend Laurent, played by Ryan. The two have a passionate affair until they are caught, and must deal with the dreary consequences thereafter.

With Todd Haimes acting as Artistic Director of the Roundabout Theatre Company, this will be part of the celebration of the company’s fiftieth anniversary. The play will run Tuesday through Saturdays with showings at 8 PM, and there will be a 2 PM matinee performance on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays.

In addition to this play, the fiftieth anniversary season includes the following plays: Old Times (starring Clive Owen, Eve Best, and Kelly Reilly), Noises Off (starring Jeremy Shamos, Daniel Davis, Megan Hilty and more), She Loves Me (starring Jane Krakowski, Zachary Levi, Gavin Creel and more), Long Day’s Journey Into Night (starring Gabriel Byrne, Jessica Lange, Michael Shannon and more) and more.
